ALL FOR TAKE OFF

A story about the condition

by Emanuela Ferrarin

"The metaphor of travel is always irresistible. And if it involves flying animals, then for the children reading it opens up a thousand possibilities for understanding and passion.
It is clear: on a journey a thousand things happen, good and bad, the important thing is to reach the destination. The reader knows this and accompanies the characters with such a heartbeat that he or she will hardly fail to be fully involved.
It is the illustrated literary materials that most of all become precious in inviting the little ones to embark on this journey. The pages become their wings and in this story there is a sky to cross in order to overcome narrative difficulties that will then help them face the real ones. Stories have always been the antidote to problems: an illustrated book for children is even more so".
